I keep waiting for the price to come down on bottles, but it's still around $16 apiece here. Might have to bite the bullet and stock up a little anyway.

I don't think it would be better received at all. A 4 pack of that would run anywhere from $24 to $30, which is ridiculous for an IPA.

Just a bit expensive for my tastes in that format.

Do you really think it would be priced that high though? I think they're just taking advantage of the fact that 750mL bottles are always ridiculously overpriced by $/oz. I imagine if this were a 4pk it would be $16 at most, and maybe even cheaper. What's MSRP on Backwoods Bastard and Harvest Ale? $14.99? I doubt this is more expensive to make than those two.

Backwoods is $19.99, not sure about Harvest.

Go let your voices be heard on their website. I remember they lowered the price on Big Luscious after some concerns about the price were raised.

I don't think it's $20 - even around here where most stuff is consistently overpriced you could easily find it for $18 and as low as $16 at some places.

I have faith, in IL at least, that this will be $9.99 as promised. Which is fair.

Well, I guess that's just another Founders BS beer I'll only being buy 1 bottle of just for my empties collection and a tick. Do they really expect people to stock up when their BS single bottles are regularly priced either the same or a higher price than 4 pack equivalents? Blushing Monk has been as high as $20 in my area, and no cheaper than $15. Big Lushious was the same deal.

$10 for an a 750ml of an IPA is high, especially when 6pks of Sucks are only $9.99, and 4pks of Double Trouble even only $9.99. Dissenter last year was the same issue. Am I the only one of the opinion that the last semi-fairly (and that's still a stretch) BS beer was probably Sweet Repute at $17 (atleast it was friggin barrel aged)?

Founders needs to make their pricing a bit more fair, or be more like Bell's and only release their special stuff in 6pks (Black Note is in 4pks, everything else 6 pks), otherwise their overproduced releases will continue to overflood store shelves (Black Rye was another rip off beer that was so overproduced that most beer stores in the Metro Detroit area had to discount it by upwards of 50-60% just to get rid of it).

If you don't want to spend the money on it, then don't buy it. I personally think it sounds delicious and will get a bottle.

Cop out? You sound like everyone that posted about Dissenter.

The beer sounds delicious and if you don't want it, don't buy it. Very simple.

I cant even remember what I paid for Dissenter. I paid for it..drank it...enjoyed it. .. ive moved on. Some of you beer tools need to do the same. Go twirl your facial hair like the commercial indicates... you've all jumped the shark. Beer hasn't.

So when can we expect to see this on shelves in metro Detroit? I would love to try it.

Why all the hate at $10 for a bomber? 3 Floyds sells most of their IPA bombers at $10 every day and don't see a lot of hate. Don't get me wrong, I'm a little disappointed with the back stage being an IPA but if it's $10 that doesn't seem overly crazy.
