Drinking one now. It's delicious. Hate all you want, but this is a great beer.

Had one earlier today at Founders, really good, but not worth the bottle price IMO. Seek it out on tap.

I've had plenty of $10 bombers that weren't this good. I would buy it again.

That new MI only clown shoes release was $8 and sucked ass. I'd gladly pay $2 more for a beer that actualy tastes good and is BREWED IN MI!!!

How does Clown shoes effect Founders backstage series?

Nothing to do with anything but price (and supporting our local beer scene), which seemed to be the current topic.

Not hating, really good beer but I'd rather have a sixer of Oracle for $18, a 4 pk of Double Crooked Tree for $17 etc.
I would highly recommend getting on tap.

I don't see a change in the format in the near future. They've branded the Backstage Series as the one-off single bottle format. The Limited series consists of the 4 annual one-month 4 pack releases (KBS, Devil Dancer, Harvest Ale, Backwoods Bastard).

Yea i know they will never change it. It would jsut be nice if they added a line of beers for the "weaker" additions to Backstage that went to one off four packs and save the backstage for CBS, Better Half, ect.

I'd be happiest if they left Backstage as it is and afterwards did some small formats of the better and cheaper to produce ones as seasonals. Would love to drink 4 or 6-packs of Mango Magnifico every summer.

I wasn't really impressed with this one. Reminded me of a fresh Red's Rye that was accidentally more potent. Not bad by any means, just not super impressive.

I also didn't feel that this was one of their "most sought-after and experimental taproom beers". I've had several brews at their tap room that were pretty similar to this and not all that experimental.

Just had it on draft - wasn't a memorable beer for me - so much hop profile and bitterness - palate wrecker indeed

Drinking a bottle right now. Not bad, but very boozy and sweet. Loads of caramel that don't mesh well with the hops. It's just very unbalanced. Won't be getting any more of this.

Maybe revisit this one in 6 to 12 months after the hops fade a bit?

Grabbed a bottle yesterday, looking forward to it. however I do get disappointed that a ton of other states had it before we had it distributed throughout Michigan. I don't know why that frustrates me but it does

Had it on draft. Its not bad but its not verry good either. Ill Echo the very unbalanced message.

Maybe if I had another bottle. Then again, it wouldn't surprise me to see these sitting around at 5.99 in 6 months. I generally like the backstage beers (except Mango Magnifico), but I think they missed the mark with this one.

This beer is great, best hoppy beer I've had from Founders. Tastes very much like Bell's Mars to me, dank and tropical fruit ipas are my favorite.

I had my first Redankulous tonight. I liked it a lot. I just have a difficult time differentiating so many of the good IPAs that are out on the market now.

I did pick up one extra bottle of Redankulous and put it in the cellar. I don't want to age it. But I do want to have one so I can compare it to either Founders Azacca IPA or Cheef IPA the next time I can get a growler fill of either one. I'm thinking Redankulous is quite similar to those two beers and I would like to see for myself exactly how similar they are.
