So, it starts with a basic starter set up, brew in a box kit and a few bottles. Before you know it your doing 10 gallon all grain batches from a reporposed keg, writing your own recipes because you want it to be "your own". You finally got the Kegerator set up how you want it with a custom tap handle ( thanks wife). So, I haven't decided what's next. Home bar in the "family room", or a beer garden on the patio? I'm leaning toward the bar since I live in northern Ohio and the patio is only seasonal. The bar will have use year round, and the patio is right off the room anyway.
Working on that one now... I have a room built into the back 1/2 of the garage that has my keezer, glassware, yeast lab, etc., and we are going to put in a sliding glass door that will open right onto the deck with a full live edge cedar table and bench, hops growing on the side, charcoal grill, growler porch lights with my logo on them to both sides of the door, inside and outside. Already have the digital tap list above the keezer on the TV screen that also runs video/WiFi, and audio through surround sound that will rock both the garage (brewery) and patio (garden).
That sounds awesome! Where did you get your growlers? I have a "beer inspired"tattoo that turned into my logo.
