I agree MD was better, still didn't get any...but it was better.

Aren't you in Nebraska or did you just steal someone's photo? Link

Or maybe you're Ray Daniels. I guess that's possible.

If they distribute it again (which I doubt) then it is possible.....it was pretty hard to get, at the nova you had to line up hours in advance without even knowing if was going to be released that day

I would my man, and I follow TG stout releases pretty close and even with that there is a large luck component to it or being in the right place at the right time. I would say my chances of getting the next assassin release with that said is about 20%....(I made that number up but I feel that to be close to accurate)

I was just telling my friends the other day (none of them are cicerones) that what these Toppling Goliath threads were missing was a truly inspired bit account. Welcome to the madness, your majesty.

How did you not have a chance? Are you a firefighter or something else that is 3 days on? I work full time and lived in La Crosse and made it for a bottle on day #2 it was available last.

Larger format like they did with MD would be nice especially with a 1 bottle limit. It would be nice to be able to share it with more than a couple friends or you could always flip it for a used car.

Are you talking about KBBS or MD? I'm talking about KBBS, with KBBS I was told that by the time I got off work and drove up, it was gone already. If I remember correctly, that was the second day also. MD is different, I was on vacation during that release.

2014 kbbs lasted a few days at the taproom. It wasn't an instant sellout like the next batch will be.

Hopefully next KBBS will be release party/mug club release.

Nah, I hope it is non-mug club release, as I am on the waiting list. Just saying...
I hope it is for guys that are at least 6'2 with 2 kids and live in Minnesota.

Yes, we all hope that the release is framed in a way that benefits ME.

Seriously, I hope they do some kind of ticketed event like they did for MD. With small bottle counts, that's the only way to control what these events have become. The last one was relaxed & laid back & a great time, but that ship has likely sailed. And probably sunk.

Really? I would have been there around 7:30 that day, but still...I may have been lied to about availability...

I thought gold lasted 2 or three days. Silver was gone by noon of release party.

KBBS Gold would of also been sold out on the first day if they had a normal release. 9/1/2014, it was secretly released at the taproom. The 2nd day, someone on Untapped posted a picture. The 3rd day, it was mentioned on BA (which is when everyone started heading to TG). The 4th day, around 20 bottles were there in the morning

Assassin 2014 lasted almost a week at the taproom as well with a 3 bottle limit per person per day.

Wow, it would certainly appear that I was given some bad information. That's frustrating! A good friend/co-worker called while we were at work and was told it was gone. He gets off earlier than I do so he was going to drive over. I know for a fact he never went and that he's never had it either....so he wasn't the one bending the truth.
