NFL Draft mini-BIF Hints and Hauls

My target should receive his box today, and will MORE THAN LIKELY open it today.

 

No offense, but the corpse of a very much dead Anne Ramsey is not my idea of a good time.

 

Well, color me confused. And pleased. Color me pleased and confused.

Why confused?

1) I have a trade pending with a man down the way (Florida). I expect a box today. I receive a box today. I open a box today. Inside I find a number of awesome beers...that are not in any way, shape or form what I traded for. I'm hovering between flabbergasted that someone would actually agree to trade me something then send something else, but flummoxed to find that what was "substituted" kicks ass. Turns out, box I opened was from our very own BIF participant @valrxman.

2) Also confused as to whether this is a BIF box or the mini-BIF box. Having squeaked into third place, I think I get one box from BIF, and I'm participating in the mini-BIF. Either way, awesome box.

3) I'm assuming from the BIF, as the hints given by @valrxman previously led me to eliminate him.

Soooooo, you say "Enough with the bullsh!t, show me the good!!!" "Can" do. Get it?



1 Necter Ales Black Xantus Imperial Stout (Never had, but I've heard great things)
1 Dan'l Webster CCB/Hoppin Frog colab Imperial Porter (Yes please!)
2 WO Jai Alai (canned a couple weeks ago...these won't last long)
2 Puppy's Breath Porter (damn, I've been wanting to get my hands on these!)

Overall, muchos gracias to @valrxman for a killer box. Again, I presume this is the BIF box, but if I'm wrong, let me know.

Came home in the shitty weather to some beer mail!

A box wrapped in some plastic to protect it from the rain had a couple bottles of want in it.

It took me forever to unpack it all! Other than Jai Alai (which I love) and Black Note (perma want) these are all new beers for me to try. From left to right:
Alaskan Ice Bay IPA, Thomas Creek Castaway Chocolate Orange IPA, Thomas Creek Up the Creek IPA, Jai Alai (x2), Hopped on the High Seas Calypso, Due South Category 5 IPA, CCB Invasion Pale Ale, CCB Humidor Series IPA, Alaskan Brewing Hop O Thermia IPA, Black Note, CCB Cubano style Espresso.

Really pumped to try all of these and have no idea where to start with such a big box. Many thanks to you sir and I hope you enjoy all the boxes that are on their way to you!

All I need now is some warm weather!

Mini-Bif Box arrived Friday, many thanks Ray for three very sweet treats from Ohio!!! I have had the pleasure of receiving a box from a previous BIF from Ray, the man always sends great stuff. No exception this time as these are all personal favorites! The White Rajah and the Plead the Fifth are both gone as of last night. I hear that KBS does good with some age on it, so I'll probably sit on that one, probably till next weekend. Many thanks for the great beers Ray!!!!

Assuming I can manage to get to an office supply store today, I plan to be shipping tomorrow.

Both my winner's box and BIF's boxes will be I-den-tical.

 

My boxes will be away tomorrow as well. Both are headed south, the winner's box will be traveling 1,299 miles, while the mini-BIF will be going 285 miles.

 

My BIF box is travelling 1550 miles.
