I just had this beer and really enjoyed it. Since I'm going to try to trade for a few more I have a couple of questions. How much do the bottles cost and do they plan on brewing it again since it was such a hit or is it a one and done type deal?

    Thanks in advance

My mule said he picked them up for $10 or so each this weekend. IDK about the future of them being brewed

I haven't heard anything about availability for next year. I've seen bottles ranging between $8-10 around the state.

I see them for $9-10 in Madison. I could be wrong but I remember reading somewhere that they'll go back to Belgian Red next year.

If anyone has a definite answer on whether or not it will be brewed again I'd be curious to know. Other then that I appreciate the info and will be ISO shortly.

9.99-12.99 depending on store, they were out for a while but a new wave hit after maybe 3 weeks of it missing from shelves. I think the intent is to keep brewing it at least until BR comes back.

The intent is to keep brewing Serendipity throughout this calendar year. If the cherry crop is good this year, it could certainly be replaced by Belgian Red. But with the mad love being shown for Serendipity, I wouldn't be shocked if NG opts to keep it around -- either along with or instead of Belgian Red. (Much as I love BR and cherish the half-dozen bottles in my cellar, I enjoy Serendipity even more.)

The NG folk certainly like to keep their options open -- Spotted Cow and Raspberry Tart are the only two beers that they've kept brewing year-round for more than three years by my reckoning....

The cherry crop this fall will determine a lot. Until then it is hard to tell. I wouldn't expect to see Belgian Red replace Serendipity until next year seeing how they need to harvest, transport and brew Belgian Red.

I believe this is the correct answer. Deb Carey is a smart businesswoman. No way is she going to stop making a beer that is selling as well as Serendipity. As long as the cherry crop works out this year, I would expect to see all three on the shelves. Although, I could envision some sort of seasonal rotation amongst the three as well.

IDK, I think that Serendipity is such a hit that it will become a regular. The stuff is still flying off the shelves.

If I were a betting man (I'm not) I think the Belgian Red will turn into a seasonal.

Serendipity is mean't to Replace Belgian Red until they can make it again now when that will be is hard to say their beer schedule is updated each month and like its been said a lot will depend on the fruit crops as well since that's why we have it in the first place.

Heading to Milwaukee now for a wedding. Any ideal place to grab it in town?

    Somewhere in Waukesha.

Also, off-topic, but what's the best sports bar with craft beer to watch the games tonight?
