NHL Playoff Eliminator BIF - 2015

True... but this can be said for every team in every sport in every city in America.. and as for the bandwagon.. the Hawks barely made the playoffs in the 2010-2011 season needing freaking Dallas to lose the last day of the season and then the Hawks lost in the first round and they were an up and down team in 2011-2012 with another first round loss to the Coyotes... and still led the league in attendance... just sayin

 

Well, my quote is from experiences in my life with people I know. People that decided to start watching hockey in order to mock fans of other teams who have had vested interest in their teams for a long time and have had an interest in the sport in general for a long time.

So, it does become annoying to a degree, with any sport, as people pretend to be lifelong fans and speak about the article the read last night from the Tribune and pull off being an expert on everything Blackhawks.

Fair enough... My feelings werent upset, you stereotyped, i responded.

Those that feel it necessary to point out their dislike for "those" people... should be okay with getting it right back. Something that is equally annoying to me are the "die-hards" out there that think its necessary to point out how long they have been a fan of a particular team. Gimme a break.

 

Here's one for all of you to ponder.... I'm a fan of the Ducks AND.... the Kings. Preposterous, right?? How can someone like both of the rivals? As long as hockey is thriving and getting attention in SoCal, I'm a happy camper!

 

Who do you root for when they play each other?

 

If they're playing against one another, then I root for the Ducks. But I do not have a "hatred" for the other team like many other Ducks/Kings fans do

 

I get the same POV here with the Sox/Cubs argument... Im a Sox fan, i dont hate the Cubs because they have no effect on the outcome of the Sox season unless they play in the World Series ... Now if they were in the same division, oooh I dont know about that LOL

 

Same. Sox fan through and through. Cubs have no bearing on the season for my team. If they happen to win the crosstown classic series, cool. I actually like watching the kids on the Cubs grow too. Bryant and Russell are fun to watch.

Oddly enough... my least favorite team in Baseball is St. Louis.

Yeah, its a little tough with the Ducks and Kings in the same division.

I'm inclined to send to @Pidzik12 since he chose the Ducks; however, being located in Illinois makes me believe that he is a Hawks fan... I can't support a Hawks fan at this time.

 

Ha, I will say go Chicago, but as far as hockey goes, I used to love the Ducks back when Donald was still the logo. Ill watch hockey still if its on, but still hard for me to follow since I stopped watching a few years back. I just pay attention to players more so than teams.

Should be a good series between Ducks and Hawks. Both teams look great. Go Ducks and Duncan!
