Are there any good beer places to check out in Niagara Falls or near Times Square? I'd love to be able to get some Westbrook while I'm visiting.

Also interested in recommended restaurants (whether beer friendly or not).

    Cheers!

The best bars near Times Square are probably the Ginger Man (36th and 5th Ave) or the Pony Bar in the other direction (10th Ave and 45th). You could always check http://www.beermenus.com/ to see if there is anything that interests you at either one.

Right at Times Square itself is Beer Authority (41st and 8th Ave), that can surprise you every now and then.

If you like regional Chinese food, and enjoy it spicy, Szechuan Gourmet (39th near 5th Ave) is close enough to the Ginger Man to get some great pre-beer eating in. You have to order the real Szechuan specialties, though, because they also have Americanized dishes on the menu.

In regards to Niagara are you staying on the US or Canada side? My wife and I spent a few days on the Canada side a few months back and it is a craft beer wasteland. I'd recommend just bringing some stuff over the boarder.

@TongoRad is spot on. About the bars at least. Cant vouch for the Chinese food. Only thing I'd add is Rattle N Hum. I prefer both of the places he mentioned, but a lot of people love Rattle.

Edit: I'd just like to add one thing. I don't know how long you're in the city for, but don't be afraid to hop on the subway or something and get out of Times Square. Times Square blows. At least I think so. I don't get into the city that often, and don't have many suggestions, but Blind Tiger was pretty awesome when I went.
