I should have posted a week ago, but am in Niagra Falls now and looking for a decent bottle shop within 15 min drive. Staying on Lundys lane just off of QED (exit 30b I believe). Any help is appreciated!

Your options in Ontario include exclusively the LCBO.
There is one on Ferry street that can sometimes have a decent selection.

    Good luck! Enjoy your visit!

    Cheers,

Go for an excellent wine tour at Niagara-On-The-Lake which is a couple of exits away from you. Just follow the signs. Over 100 wineries right there. You are in Canada's best wine areas right now, enjoy it!

If you're still here, head to silversmith brewery on niagara stone road. it's about 20 minutes from where you are, BM for directions if you want. oast house has decent beer down the road from them as well, but they are horribly overpriced as they are trying to rip off the wine crowd that drive by there ($20 for growler refills, $12 for an average saison 750ml, $10 for a okay apa 750ml).

you can get growlers right by you at the syndicate which has some decent beer that they brew themselves. the lcbo on mcleod has a decent selection of belgian stuff right now at cheaper prices than you get in the states (saison dupont, rochefort 8 and st berny 12 were all there last i checked). when at the lcbo, check out collective arts' rhyme and reason for a nice apa.

your best bet for bottles is to head across the border to niagara falls, ny and check out the consumers on niagara falls blvd. if the bridge is clear it's 40 minutes round trip travel time, check this site for border wait times niagarafallsbridges.com. and if you've got time to kill, drive another 20 minutes to premier gourmet in amherst as they have the best selection in the area.
