Night Shift Brewing (August 2016)

Yup, it does occasionally sell out. I'd keep an eye on their website. They're pretty good about updating it.

 

Met friends at Night Shift yesterday, first time we really sat down and ate as it is usually just grabbing a flight and some cases...it would be great if Night Shift had some menus for the food places that deliver there, as their Facebook/websites tend to be not so good (at least from my experience yesterday). As always, it was a fun time and the beer was great. Our friends had never been and they really enjoyed it.

 

I went to this craft beer store in Back Bay (sorry I cant remember the name of it but it was close to a highway) and the guy sold me a mixed 4 pack of night shift. I had no more room in my luggage for 2 different 4 packs so he was cool to sell me 2 beers of each. Whirlpool and another one that was an IPA in a green can.

 

Sounds like Urban Grape.

 

And it sounds like the beer in the green can was Santilli.

Swung by yesterday for a sampler. I had to go to Best Buy, so it was basically impossible not to swing through. Seemed fairly quiet for a Sunday, it was nice though.

I also noticed Bone Up Brewing (I remembered the name, but didn't know they were over there too). Anyone checked them out? I'm at Nightshift fairly often, so I'll likely swing through for a brew.

 

Bone Up is pretty awesome. The grand opening of the taproom is on August 27th. Their beer has been out and about in various bars and freshly growlers available at a few liquor stores for the last few weeks. Follow them on Social Media for details.

 

Their website does a good job of listing stores you can find their growlers, along with which beers and when they were delivered.

 

Looks like the 8/30 release was updated to Vic Secret. Kinda bummed as I was looking forward to picking up OHTT Citra

 

You could pick up the latest Morph (8/25 I think). It has Citra, Mosaic, and Simcoe. One of the better Morph recipes I've had, right up there with the glorious 7/1 batch.

Personally, I liked it better than OHTT: Citra.
