Night Shift Brewing (March 2016)

Just left, no line but got a case myself, plenty of people coming in and out though.

nah gotta wait till the end of the day when I get home like some kind of god damn peasant.

 

I don't get why they didn't put a limit on cans with only 140 cases. I was gonna head there now but they just posted they only had 10 cases left, I'm not wasting my time.

 

huh. I went at like 1:45 and there was no line. Seems weird that it went so fast and it was so calm in there... (Haven't tried it yet either. Did a lunchbreak hit n' run)

 

Sold out in cans. Went way faster than we expected.

Still have about 4 halves for draft if you want to enjoy some at the brewery.

 

How long are you expecting the drafts to last? Will be in tomorrow night for it if it is still around!

 

Wow, no release is safe from the masses.

 

No kidding! I fully expected it to last to the weekend. Guess I was way off.

 

I really gotta find a job that isn't 9-5.

 

Honest question... You expected 140 cases of a hyped up DIPA to last a couple of days with no limit?

 

Yes, is my honest answer. Why did we believe that? Based on months of data around our can sales. For example, last week we sold 50 cases of our regular DIPA, 87, and about 60 cases of the Morph. So based on it being a one off we predicted a much higher demand of maybe 50 cases a day - and thus last till Saturday.

 

Right but those are biweekly releases this is a one time release. Oh well your brewery your choices. I am bummed I missed out though.

 

Also to add - only 40 people came in and bought a whole case. 3 people bought 2-3 cases. If we had put a limit on it, we would have likely done 1 case per person. Which would have made 4 extra cases available.
