Most Night Shift 4-packs at my local store are $12, which the Pfaffenheck cans were consistent with.

$14 at the brewery. Many local places are a tad cheaper but do not have consistent availability or volume. Many places have limits which don't exist at the brewery.

$13 is the lowest I've seen. Who is charging $12?

Total Wine opened today in Everett across the rotary from Night Shift and they have Trifecta and Awake at $10.99, according to their website.

Saw Night Shift 4pks at the decidedly NOT Craft Beer Cellar in Sudbury (the inside looked like 80% of a CBC, fwiw) for $13.50

What is the Presidential DIPA series? I missed whenever Monroe happened late 2014, now they are releasing Roosevelt the 26th and bringing Truman to BA Microbrew Invitational.

I just finished the last of my barrel society beers and I have to say that it was a big waste of $150. The beers ranged from average to not good. No need to join the barrel society when all the regular offerings are much better.

I think they've done seven in total (Adams, Jefferson, Lincoln, Monroe, Truman, Van Buren, Washington). I'm pretty sure it's as simple as it sounds: a DIPA named after a president. They're not using Washington apples or something from Illinois to honor Lincoln or anything -- just big, tropical offerings, as I remember them.

Can't say I agree, I think they have been killing it. I have had most from last year and this year (still early though) and all have been way worth it. I am also considering doubling up next year. I really want to have one fresh and another to age since so many are big big beers.

As @BRYeleJR mentioned its pretty simple. Presidential series is just a naming convention for one-off (some might come back) DIPAs. We are going to start canning them on occasion, which will be the first time they get packaged. Previously they had been draft only in the taproom. People have loved previous batches so we are excited to be able to have a solid shareable option.

Castle Island is going to mess you up. Pretty sure you need to be inside 495 (and maybe 95?) to find them.

But Julio's is the store to hit up. by far. Jack's Abbey is many times their 'beer of the week' too and you might even walk out with a free pint glass, in addition to paying the cheapest prices around for JA beers.

Hello Crow121, we do carry all 3 breweries that you're looking for, as well as much beer as our friends at Night Shift can spare. Check out our website, you'll be able to browse and search any beer that we carry in any of our locations. You'll have the option to purchase on the website and have your order ready for when you come in the store within a 24 hour notice.

    Cheers

Any chance the Art series ever comes back?

It sort of still exists. Just no longer referred to as Art. We got rid of it because the numbering system became too confusing for both our team and customers to remember what was what. So we decided to just give all one-off's names. For example right now we have Duchess - saison with Sauvignon blanc and Lubeck - classic German maibock. Other past beers have been things like Marylyn, Second Breakfast, and more.
