Didn't Night Shift have this at ACBF?

They did have it at ACBF and they are releasing it at the brewery this week. Not sure on production size but I have seen it in the trading forums already.

I was at the brewery yesterday for the bottle release. Two bottle limit per person. $20 per bottle. It is also on tap for pours, but not growler fills.

Per the Night Shift website: Brewed last year with our friends from North Carolina’s NoDa Brewing. Sparkling golden ale fermented with Sauvignon blanc grape must and a blend of wild yeast strains.

    It's a very tasty beer.

Yup, it was pretty good. I'd have to pass on $20 a 750ml bottle though. I'd like to enjoy a pour if I can get down there.

Well when you take about a ~$1MM loan to open a new brewery space you need to pay for it some how.

No bottles at NoDa last I heard. That was from Chad Henderson himself a couple days ago.

Is anyone heading to the brewery today? How do they feel about bringing bottles to share at the brewery?

I could be wrong, but I don't suspect they allow that.

They let me and a few buddies share a Kuhnhenn growler at the old location a few months back, we made sure to share with the staff as well. Couldn't hurt to call and ask 'em!

The Noda Collab netted us about 500 bottles (about 200 remain for sale at open today) plus kegs for draft pours and a bit went out to a local bar. We are pretty happy with how this beer turned out. Chad, from NoDa, and myself brewed the beer last May before ACBF and then the beer spent a year in oak with a blend of wild yeasts. Hope people enjoy it as much as did making it.

We don't allow bottle shares in the brewery. But if its not too busy and you want to share something with the staff/brewers we wouldn't be too opposed.

No bottles at NoDa but we sent them home with some kegs. Not sure when they will be tapping them. But I think sometime soon they will be pouring in their taproom.

I thought we do that with $18 4pks of Belgian blonde these days.

Fwiw, this is likely prohibited the terms of their liquor license. You can't BYO at places that serve alcohol in MA.

I went yesterday and tried it on tap and grabbed bottles. I thought it was a great beer. There was a good period of time where I hadn't had anything from noght shift that wowed me. I've had a couple recently that changed that. Nice job with this one.

I think so. It's not out of line with what I would expect for a beer of this quality that also sat for a full year. I see and have had beers that delivered a lot less for the same price or more.

to give another point of view when I had this at ACBF I wasn't impressed, based on my thoughts on it I don't think its worth it and I will not be buying it.
