yeah I'd say inconsistency is their main issue. I can't say that about Santilli specifically, as I haven't bought it in ages, which admittedly is nothing more than there being too much stuff out there to try to have many regulars I buy at stores. I'm sure it's still very good/solid. But other than that, they messed with the 87 recipe and I didn't like the result. I've had a few great Morphs but a few mediocre ones and I've stopped the gamble.

The last IPA I was really blown away by them was OHTT: Vic Secret. That was probably close to 2 years ago.

    Yes.

Its a fairly straight forward scale.

    Not tasty
    A little tasty
    Quite tasty
    Pretty tasty
    Really tasty
    Very tasty
    Tasty McTasteface

As you can see, Pretty tasty is right slap bang in the middle. Middling to average.

    Agree for the most part.

The latest one hop has been, IMO, their best to date. Really nailed the mosaic.

Tried the One Hope Double Citra and it was quite bland.

For the most part their IPAs strike me as solid, but not much more these days, but they have enough of a variety of decent beers available and a nice tap room experience that i am happy to hang out once in a while.

I always thought the 87 was a very good, under-the-radar NEIPA, but it's been a few months since I've had it

I see you're using the BrE usage of "quite" (meaning, not very) and not the AmE usage, meaning "very"...

I heard Santilli was re-vamped recently (don't know if it's true or not). I always thought it was a mediocre IPA, but I had a reasonably fresh one recently and really enjoyed it.

The Weisse beers have been good during the heat.

Not a great value for such a low abv beer but they are tasty

Hadn't heard that they reimagined it but Santikla and Whirlpool are absolutely grand regular offerings.

And I mean grand in the most European "fine" meaning of the word rather than the US "large, ornate and funk railroad" meaning.

I was thinking about this more, and I came to this conclusion.

If your customers enjoy your West Coast IPA more than your New England IPAs, either your West Coast IPA is phenomenal, or your New England IPAs aren't very good. This is considering the obvious wild popularity of New England IPAs in recent years, many of which replaced their West Coast counterparts.

This isn't a knock on any of the beers though, as I haven't tried any of them.

So this beer does not feature the wild shirtless lyrics of Mark Farner, the bong rattling bass of Mel Schacher or the competent drum work of Don Brewer?

Working my way through a mixed 4-pack and this has been my experience exactly so far (still have #4 to go). Team 3 should need to re-apply for their jobs.

Seemed to be diacetyl infected to me. I've had this twice now from them.

My bottle of Maple Cinnamon Darkling was definitely a diacetyl mess but thankfully that's the only infected beer I've had from them.

Plenty of other reviews from that release said their were fine so odds are in your favor.

Mine was akin to someone mixing aunt jemima's with sprayable butter.
