Is there a way to "like" your post 1000x? Because I could not agree more.

I work on Saturday until at least 2. @masterob8 if I buy the ticket and show up late am I still guaranteed being able to purchase at least 1 but hopefully like 4 bottles?

I'm sure the Nightshift team has a plan, but there's the potential disaster scenario where the first 333 people through the gate buy a full case and none remains for the last 666 people.

Well really, it would be the first 333 people to leave.

Sour futures was a better system in my option.

More than a little bummed that I might not be able to get any Everweisse this year...I'm going to be out of town from 8/20-26. It's my favorite regular release NS sour.

I bought a ticket, just got an email saying it's now free! Text of email below:

You recently purchased at least one ticket to our Ever Weisse Block Party on Saturday, 8/22

. Firstly - thanks, we appreciate it! Secondly - due to some capacity and logistical issues, we're restructuring the party a bit. All good changes, but it's important that you're aware of them. Please see below for details:
    • Party entry is now FREE (you will be refunded shortly for any and all tickets purchased)
    • Party will now be from 12pm-11pm (instead of 12pm-4pm)
    • Party location will now be our Taproom and patio seating area (instead of our parking lot). Capacity will be 240, so we recommend arriving sooner than later to guarantee entry.
    • Ever Weisse drafts will be pouring all day and night.
    • Ever Weisse bottles will be for sale all day and night. There will be no bottle limit imposed, but we think it's very unlikely that bottles will sell out on 8/22. We have a lot of bottles. We're ready for you.
    • The party will feature the following:
      • Munch Mobile food truck
      • Stoked Pizza food truck
      • Galley Ice Cream
      • FREE iced coffee from Pavement Coffeehouse
      • Nola Salsa
      • 6 free-play arcade games
      • And a variety of local artists
Basically, it's now free, it's partially indoors, and it's longer - win win win. To be clear: party date is still Saturday, 8/22, and party location is still at Night Shift Brewing. Show up anytime during open hours (12pm-11pm) and we'll be celebrating the release of Ever Weisse, probably all wearing the pink and green Ever Weisse shirts that are being printed right now!

I guess $20 was just, too much to swallow...I'll see myself out

We are doing a mini pre-Ever event tomorrow at Row 34. Will be pouring Ever Weisse and Harborside (our take on a gose, brewed with Island Creek Oysters). I will be there as well so come on by and enjoy some sour beer during this hot ass week.

    @masterob8

If the weather doesn't cooperate Saturday, would everything be oved indoors, or would there be a tent? Also, would this impact the capacity of 240 people, or is the limit 240 regardless?

    Thanks in advance, can't wait!

@masterob8 did the kegs get kicked yesterday at Row 34? I couldn't make it but would love to stop by today to try the beers.

We are planning to utilize the space adjacent to our current taproom for additional space inside. So we will have room for all 240 people inside but hopefully the weatherman is wrong and its a nice day.

As far as I know, both Harborside and Ever are still on tap. Cheers!

Awesome! Well, it's sunny right now...hopefully.

Excited to try some Everweisse, and I've never been to the tap room either. Can't wait to drink some super fresh Whirlpool, also eager to try your pilsner.

Awesome. Hope the first visit is a success. I should be around for a portion of tomorrow too. My favorites on tap right now are Whirlpool (constant favorite), Morph, Harborside and One Hop: Ella. And soon to be tapped Ever.

Candidly, this batch of our pilsner isn't my favorite, its still grassy, floral, easy drinking but just not where we want it to be. We are working on tweaks to make it more awesome and for this batch I don't think it worked out. But we learned from this and brewed a batch that should come out mid September that is tasting excellent.

Whirlpool is a constant favorite of mine too. I appreciate the honesty about the pilsner. Maybe that guy at Lord Hobo could learn a thing or two from you?
