Night Shift Whirlpool & Morph cans

Well I'm finishing up what I consider the holy trinity from Night Shift.

Really hard to decided which I really like the best may have to make another round.

 

@masterob8 what's the ABV on the 9/23/15 Morph? I checked the Morph page on the Night Shift site and it's not on there. Any consideration of adding the ABV at the end of the description on the On Tap page? Seems like a good detail to include there.

 

The chalkboards said 6.0% ABV when I was at the brewery on Saturday.

 

Anyone in town (Allston, Newton, Brookline esp.) have either Santilli or Morph? Would like some, but don't have time for brewery trip.

 

The current batch(9/23/15) is 6.0%. We used to have a solid work flow of updating that morph page but now that it is sporadic we are off our A-game.

Brookline Liquor Mart, Marty's Newton, Craft Beer Cellar Newton all get cans.

 

Redstone posted on their twitter yesterday that they had it. North of Boston for sure, but still easier to get to than the Santilli Highway madness

 

Side note, I thought the new "one hop this time" (Vic Secret) might have been the best IPA I've had from them. Definitely worth a trip in.

 

Awesome to hear! Just tapped a new One Hop batch with Azzacca yesterday. Also, very tasty!

 

I totally agree. Thats the next beer that needs to be canned!

 

I think that was my first time having Vic Secret hops, and man do they not seem to get along with my palate. While everyone else was getting tropical fruit and melon, I was tasting mint, fennel, and soap. Such a bummer. Damn (I assume) genetics...

 

Stopped in yesterday for lunch shortly after the new single hop IPA, Azzaca, was tapped. Came in to try Vic Secret (and return some work emails in between vendor visits in Medford...) but couldn't pass up the Azzaca. I think it was a tiny notch creamier and juicier than the Vic, but both were awesome.

Fresh Morph, Santilli & Whirlpool...easy in & out...a dozen (more?) tasty & varied beers for sale in cans, growlers and bottles...open at noon, 7 days a week...Night Shift is crushing it right now. Keep it up!

 

Just signed up for the 2016 barrel society, very excited!

 

Bought a case of santilli yesterday directly from NS brewery and it truly tastes awful - can date 10/7. Anyone else having a similar problem? Can I return it? Never had this issue with them before...very disappointing.

Will do thanks. Was just seeing if anyone had a similar experience with that batch. To be clear, NS is one of my faves and Santilli is absolutely up there for me. The Morph I picked up as well is great. Didn't mean to give off a bad impression about them...

 

I thought the 9/23 morph was on point. Right up there with the dynamic duo IMO

 

Does the new website no longer tell you what bottles are available at the taproom?

It's not too clear, but the icons under each beer name show what that beer is available in. Draft/cans/bottles/growler.

 

I like the photography on the new website but I hope Night Shift does some work to make their new website more mobile friendly. Right now it's very hard to navigate and to read on my iPhone.

 

Yeah I think the site could be much better on mobile. If Night Shift needs help with that feel free to contact me as I do it for a living.
