We might need to start a group in Metrowest to split up road trips and divvy up a case or so locally. I'd always be in for at least a 4 pack of fresh Whirlpool!! LOL (okay, LOL. but also kinda serious I think? Haha)

Seems like it would be easier to just go 90 to 93. I guess technically you're not avoiding Boston by doing that but you're basting through it on a highway nearly all the way to the brewery.

Love this approach. Having a predictable supply at the brewery is so much nicer than having every store in MA get a case and having to roll the dice everywhere.

    Sarcasm?

Definitely not. I'd much rather know I can get it any time I want by just driving to the brewery than having to track which liquor stores have it in stock for which 48-hour periods.

That is exactly our thought process. Make sure that the taproom always has a supply of both cans so customers know that they can always buy some in the taproom. Anything "left over" goes out to stores.

@MyThoughtsExactly - Whirlpool price won't be changing anytime soon. Maybe in the future if we can get our own canning line and increase production to a much higher volume.

How's inventory of Whirlpool looking? Any danger of running out before the weekend?

We should be good but feel free to call to double check. Also, we typically will do growler fills of Whirlpool once cans run out.

I'm also on board with the 'more beer at brewery' plan and appreciate the thought of making one spot that it's available.

Appreciate the feedback @masterob8. All this discuss makes me want to pick up a back of Whirlpool.

@masterob8 do you have a scheduled date for the next packaging run of Whirlpool and/or Santilli? I'm one of "those guys" who obsesses over super-fresh hoppy beers.

Subscribe to the email newsletter, it says they are doing alternating runs of Santilli and Whirlpool each Wed. This week is Santilli week, next week will be fresh Whirlpool. If they stick to this you should never see if more than a week or two old at the brewery...

Exactly the opposite for me, I am not a big fan of Santilli (sorry ,masterob8, it just doesn't work for me!) but will gladly pay for the super light and refreshing Whirlpool. I like it for the lower alcohol content too.

We are now canning every week on Wednesday, rotating between Whirlpool and Santilli. Today was a Santilli canning run as well as the release of our funky Gose, Harborside (brewed with Island Creek Oysters).

Next Wednesday August 19th we will be canning Whirlpool and Morph. The Morph has a bit of Rye and Wheat and a killer hop profile of Galaxy, Equinox and Azzacca. Should be right around 6.2% of awesomeness.

Happy you guys are starting to continue the Morph project!! Always kept 2 cans from the 2 releases before so I could compare 2-3 different releases at once

Canned fresh batches of Whirlpool and Morph (08/19/15) yesterday. Morph is tasting fantastic. Really proud of this batch (and seems like others are digging it too Morph 08/19/15 - Night Shift Brewing - Untappd) . This will be taproom only so swing by to snag some before we drink it all. Cheers!
