I'm a big fan of the Night Shift Berliner's but not sure if there are any at stores or the brewery. Are these gone until the next season rolls around or is there anywhere to pick some up. Cheers.
Right now the brewery has Sommer Weisse and Mainer Weisse. I have seen Sommer at some retail shops that carry Night Shift (listed on their website). Mainer just came out a couple of weeks ago, so not sure if that one will hit distro or not. I'd guess that Sommer will be gone soon. I remember Ever Weisse hitting distro right before it was gone for the season.
The Weisse series beers start out as taproom exclusive offerings. As the season for each weisse comes to an end we send some out to our stores. Right now we are fading out the Somer Weisse (which is in most of our stores) and we just launched the Mainer at the brewery only (came out on Oct 16th). We made less of Mainer than we did of Somer/Ever so it might not hit stores. Next up in the weisse series is a brand new peach & white tea berliner that may be draft only. Followed by Cape Codder Weisse launching in January. Hope that helps. Cheers, Rob
The new Berliner weisse sounds interesting. Any thoughts on bottling Art #5, maybe next year? I really liked it at Belgian Beer Fest, but didn't get a chance to visit the brewery to try/buy more. And, maybe too early, but just curious, any new plans for Sour Futures 2014? Maybe expanding it? (and bottling Art #5 )
Thanks for the info, wish getting to Boston from Hartford wasn't such a chore. Love your Berliner's and the new one sounds great, really hope you bottle that!
We are considering bring back Art #5 back for sure as the feedback has been positive. We haven't really decided on our Sour Future 2014 plans. I am pretty sure we will do it again. Just need to figure out the best approach and what beers are being offered. Cheers!
