Curious to hear/read the early reviews on this one.

From the brewery: After a six month slumber on red wine and brandy barrels, the Jester stirs, ready for guile and play. His voice is light, his humor dry, his music wild and merry. He wears a costume made of leather, plays a fiddle made of oak, and juggles whimsically with pineapple fruit. He’s the Jester – he refreshes, perplexes, entertains, and delights.

Haven't cracked a bottle yet, so just going off the sample. I thought it was decent. Fairly balanced, but I hoped it would be funkier and/or sweeter. I'd probably have liked it better with a different base beer, but I'll enjoy it and see if the brett comes out more with time.

Do you guys know if they just add lactic acid to their sour beers? Is that how they churn them out so fast?

Think you're confusing the sour futures and the Barrel Society. They've released 2 beers in essentially 4 months (longer if you count the time it was first announced) for the NSBS. The sour futures are berliner weisses and not lambics or spontaneously fermented. That would take much longer.

The glasses arent ready yet, unfortunately. They seemed hopeful by next release.

Will be picking mine up this weekend and expect to drink a bottle of this immediately, unlike Elixir. I'll post back here once I drink. High hopes for this one - never had a pineapple beer before!

More time to schmooze with people for one I guess. Thanks for the info.

Anything in Brandy barrels interests me, so I'm looking forward to this one.

How have people been enjoying Elixir? Only one review... I still need to get my ass over there and pick my bottles up...

Had my first on Patriot's day. Has already really smoothed out since when I first tried it. I was very pleased.
