Hello, I would like to create a nitrogen set up . I'm really confused though. Which nitrogen regulator is best and easiest to use? Which regulator will keep the pressure constant even as the pressure in the tank drops? And how do I keep the flow rate at 15 L per minute? Thank you so much for any advice!
I'm guessing you're new to pushing beer around with gas. The gas needed for a nitro set-up is actual a mixture of CO2 and Nitrogen (called beer gas) and any nitrogen regulator will do the job. The main difference in a nitrogen regulator from a CO2 reg is the connection fittings (beer gas tank has a different type thread than CO2 tank) . . . and you don't set a flow rate, rather a pressure. Suggest you review this link, it covers much of the basics, then fire away with any questions: https://byo.com/article/nitrogen-draft-tap-projects/
The sole purpose of a regulator is to keep the pressure constant even as the pressure in the tank drops. That's its job. Thus, any regulator will do what you want.
