Wegmans Ocean had a case and a half of Backwoods left earlier today (end of a isle near the beer fridges)

I agree. I always have some right away and age some. I have some 4-5 years old and they'd taste enjoyably smooth. But I guess it's not hyped as much anymore.

Love me some backwoods! Seems like 2 years ago it was hard to get, but the last two years it has just been sitting !!

This years bourbon county is weirdly impossible to get..

Distro seems very light in NJ. I was told Wegmans Ocean only got 3 cases. That's very light for a store/chain like that

Not sure where you live, but go into nyc and buy as much bourbon county as you want.

I went on Friday and they did not have any. I also did not ask anyone in case they didn't have it out and had to get it from the back (I should have). Where in the store were they and was there a limit? Also, how much? Thx.

Regular seemed to continually pop up in Whole Foods throughout the year

Martin's Liquors in Mt. Laurel posted on facebook about an hour ago that they got BCBS in. 24.99 per...I passed. Picked up BA Ten Fidy for a hefty price though and some Death By Coconut if anyone is interested. 14.99 for the Ten Fidy but I've never had it and the misses is a big fan of the regular so I caved in.

I don't know if they still have BCBS or not. I didn't see it by the register where everything else was, but at that price point I wasn't going to bother anyway.

This beer really brings out the worst, man. Another place that shall remain nameless flat out lied about when they were getting it. "It's been gone for a few days". BS, you said you didn't get it yet when I called a couple of days prior.

Spirit of 76 in Manasquan has some bottles of barley wine available. Little pricey though at $18 a bottle...

Ten Fidy very much worth that price, larger format than BCBS too.

14.99 for a can though. I don't think I specifically mentioned it was per can. If it was a 4 pack, I would have been thrilled. I've paid plenty more for one bottle of beer so while it sucks, I wanted it so it's on me.

I paid $14 for a BCBS in PA over the weekend, and if you're still looking to trade one for a BA Ten Fidy let me know!

Warning to everyone out there. I went to buy BCBS yesterday and was handed one. I almost checked out and realized I had a 2015 infected one from last year. Not too sure what happened but the guy working there initially told me that that was all they received. Several minutes later he finds me and hands me a 2016 and says he rechecked all he received and found that.

So either this guy is expecting me to believe he received a shipment of a mixed case of 2015/2016 from the distributor.....or he is trying to fuck with me and sell last years shitty product. Shady practices all around....and this is from a highly known reputable merchant of fine groceries.
