This store is a half block from my office. They had tons. If anyone is contemplating making the trip I'll be back Monday, feel free to BM me and I'll let you know. Last year they had regular BCBS for months as did many ny spots.

Yup, and 2012 went until almost October. Times are changing...

    Thanks for that price check.

It has been mentioned ad nauseum that InBev leaves the Bourbon County series alone, and in the hands of the Goose Island guys, and the lower ABV (for some batches) is purely a byproduct of the inaccurate science that is barrel-aging. I believe I read that the base stout is ballpark 11.2-11.5% ABV, and the barrel can add anywhere from another 3-3.5% based on a number of things. The distro is...well, the distro. But if you think that Goose Island would have been able to satisfy the demand for these beers given the current state of craft beer, you're mistaken.

That, and some of the new Distro states have Abv limits, here in Nc its 15%. You can't afford to go over, so it slides back a bit just in case,

I wouldn't be so quick to blame InBev. I would put the blame on the huge demand for this now that craft beer is getting more and more popular. And the hoarders of this stuff doesn't help either.

This beer and its variants were just as hard to get waaay before InBev took over - if not worse. The only one I really had problems with this year was vanilla, but was still able to track some down.

If anyone is still looking for the regular it seems like High Grade is finally shipping it out. I have a case at my store now in Union County (Rotondo's in Clark)

Joe Canals Iselin finally got their shipment from High Grade today. Only one case of each (excluding Vanilla, the white whale in NJ). One bottle per person. Coffee is sold out by now. $7.99 for Reg and $7.49 for BW.

High Grade really dropped the ball this year.

I know its not Burlington county, but canals in lawrenceville/princeton got the vanilla in. they sold the regular BCBS and then had a raffle for the right to buy coffee and vanilla and called people who had been selected to buy a particular variant. I know they are even out of regular now.

Any high grade accounts see vanilla?

Very doubtful. It was rumored that Wegmans in Ocean got one case of Vanilla. Not 100% sure it was true or not. Otherwise all the stores I have called in northern Monmouth and Middlesex got mostly 1 case each. Some didn't get any variants at all. No Vanilla to be found.

    Thanks High Grade.

Ritchie & Page is the AB house/GI distributor covering Monmouth County (and, so, Ocean Twp., as well), not High Grade.

Agree to the extent of not worth chasing this anymore. Going to look for trading for 2013 and earlier versions.

I said Middlesex county as well. Which is where I got most of the info from for stores.

I was adding the info for Wegmans because that's the only place I heard got Vanilla in central Jersey. I haven't heard any High Grade accounts get Vanilla at all. Maybe they are holding it for a later time?

I'm asking because u swear they didn't send out backyard last year (I worked at marketplace in EB). They also didn't get it this year. Are they not distributing it?

I can confirm that there are still a few bottles available (along with Raison D'extra) behind the counter at Broad Liquors. Picked up one of each this morn!
