Re: Joe Canals West Deptford list. Does anyone know if that Cherry Rye is a typo? It was released in 2012, right? Bramble Rye was 2013 and that looks like the bottle that appears in their Black Friday teaser video. I'm most likely not going, but just wanted to point that out in case someone was going there specifically for that beer. Cheers!

 

They had a pic of a Backyard in their Promo video. I'm assuming that was what they meant.

Carton posted lists by region on Facebook of what stores and bars were getting Epitome.

 

Just scored a bottle of regular, coffee, and BW at Total Wine in Cherry Hill. Only a handful of people waiting, but I don't think they have too much. One bottle limit.

Also scored two bottles of regular at Canal's in Pennsauken. They only had regular.

 

Glad I didn't go to NYC, was able to Score a Vanilla, a Coffe, and two regulars at the local Gary's this morning. not sure how much is left. limit of two regulars and any two variants, I can confirm that had all three variants when they opened up this morning. also grabbed a 4 pack of Epitome, it is 4 pack of 16 oz cans.

 

I knew Canals in Pennsauken were getting some so I hit there at 9am. They had only received one case of the regular and were limiting customers to two bottles. I next hit Wegmans in Cherry Hill at 9:06 and they were already sold out. They had received a case of each (except the vanilla rye).

With such small amounts being given to stores in NJ, I expect it's going to be hard to find. Unless you're one of the first few customers, you'll probably miss it.

 

It just said bars. Are stores going to get the cans as well? (looking in SJ)

 

I know the store local to me on their list has cans. I saw them the other day. Heading there now to pick up a 4 pk as that is the limit for today.

The beer guy showed me the cans the other day but asked I did not post it publicly. Which is why I edited my other post.

 

I hit the same places. Got to total wine after they ran out of the variants. They got 4 cases of regular, though so there was still some left. Wegmans was the first to run out. I struck out there but had success at all the cherry hill area canals. No one sold more than 2 bottles. Most were one only.

 

Picked up a 4 pack of Epitome from a local shop. Steep price of $17.

 

Went to three places, everyone had regular but no one had received any Coffee or the other variants.

Scored a 4-pack of Epitome so I'm happy about that.

I picked up a 4 pack of Epitome at my local store this morning, it was going fast! Didn't ask them about BCBS or go to other stores for it as I'll just drive to NY in a few days and pick up some without having to wait in line or chase it around town.

 

I got 1 base, 1 coffee, 1 '13 BW, and a growler of '14 BW at Canals West Deptford, this morning.

 

My total score was five bottles of the regular BCBS. I didn't have any luck scoring any of the variants; it seems most stores only got the regular.

A couple stores reported they're getting theirs in on Monday, but I don't know if I'll bother trying to get more unless they receive the other variants.

 

How was the scene there? Mayhem? It was 10am and I had hit 7 places already and was about 20 mins from deptford. Think they would have been tapped out by 10:30?
