Would you drive over an hour to go Ramstein? I have and wouldn't again.

It takes me about 45 minutes to get there from my house, longer if traffic sucks. So I guess the simple answer to your question is... Yes. Of course I can usually find sixers in my local store so its not like I need to make the drive all the time. That said I will be going in a few weeks when they release their Oktoberfest.
    Cheers!

I just don't think any of there beer is worth drinking except maybe the winter wheat. but Kane's beer is way better.

Ramstein's draft only lagers are superb examples of their respective styles, and the Octoberfest is easily the best I've had.

Loving forward to that hour plus drive each way next month.

You don't have to call. I caught up on my beer mags on the beach today. Both ASN and MABN said the 14th. Wishful thinking on my part.

How long are you in town? Jamesburg puts you not too far from some good PA stops too. Tired Hands Brewing, Hulmeville Inn(bar), Trenton Road Takeout and Philly's steaks wings beer (stores). Kane and Carton are definitely worth the trip within NJ.

Ramstein open houses are always the second saturday of the month. Now just for seasonal releases, but the tasting room is open more often.

I look forward to the 3 1/2 hour drive to Ramstein and their beers.

Sarcasm? I have lived 30 minutes from them and my best friend moved 3 minutes from them when I was in college and I still have never been there. Great Oktoberfest and every so many years when they can make an eisbock thats good too but other than that meh

Maybe wheat beers aren't your thing.
