Hi guys, This weekend I'm heading out to Lake Wallenpaupack from north Jersey. Anyplace I should stop?
Assuming you'll be going through Milford, PA stop at Ice Cold Beer Here. It's inside a grocery store, but they have the best selection in the area. There is nothing between Milford and Hawley, and not really much even in Hawley.
There's basically 3 ways to get to Lake Wallenpaupack from NNJ. The best is Route 80 to 15 to 206 up to 84 which brings you through Milford PA like the previous post states. I also 2nd the Ice Cold Beer Here for that route. The other two routes are 23 North Directly to 84 (which the shoprite in Hamburge has a decent selection but no different than any other place in your area and then nothing on 84) and Route 80 then various routes up to the Lake Wallenpaupack area. They offer some possibilities depending on which way you go. I haven't gone that way in years but there has to be something in the Stroudsburg area.
