No BRAINER craft beer choice?

Good point about where’s the party. OP is in New Jersey, so I would say Carton’s Boat Beer might be nice and accessible for a summer party with some non-craft aficionados in attendance, but should satisfy the craft beer regulars, and plus points for local.

I would likely bring a nice stout because probably no one else will and I like drinking stouts.

 

I try to keep a couple of bottles of Cascade Figaro in the cooler for such occasions (and bring a set of small tasting glasses).
There is a lot of “this is a beer?” “Wooah” “ wow “ but usually an interested crew.
