We can only hope that Victory changes their mind and makes this again-- of only for the good it does in reducing hype around limited releases...

I enjoyed this beer. I like the more subtle bourbon flavors. Too much bourbon flavor is a bad thing. I wanna taste the beer more than anything.

Now if only they would fill the Dark Intrigue and Old Horizontal void by making Yakima Glory year round!

Too much oak is a bad thing. The oak destroyed the beer for me. The bourbon may have been subtle but it tasted rather cheap next to the overly assertive oak. I like Victory but this was a complete miss in my mind.

I was on-board until you said "I like Victory..."
As I've said before, the best thing Victory ever did was name themselves as a reference to 1984. I WANT to like them, I really do....

What's wrong with Victory? I won't claim them to be a top tier brewery by any means, but their Pale Ale is one of my favorites, I consistently enjoy Storm King, Old Horizontal (RIP) is a solid Barleywine and their Hopdevil is tasty.
