How was this released last year? Was it just typical stand in line or did they do bracelets? Did it last a while? I'll actually be in GR that Saturday so I'd love to swing buy later in the afternoon.

Prior year's thread should have some details you're interested in.

Mug clubbers were able to buy an hour before the general public sale. Seems like everyone that was in line before they opened was able to buy beer. And while it did sell out at the brewery, it seemed like it was insanely easy to buy around Grand Rapids once it hit distribution.

Wasn't it pretty easy to buy around SE MI as well? I ended up with a couple bottles from a trader and my brother, and both commented that I could get more when I was in town. Just wonder if it'll be as easy to get some this year.

2016 is literally shelf turding all over ohio beer stores right now. Is there any difference from year to year?

    Should be the same.

Kind of surprised it is sitting around. Still trades good.

No difference the first two years, wouldn't think there would be any this year. How many cases did your local stores get that it is sitting around? Seems strange.

It is nice how they aren't upping the price. I would have thought for sure this would be 19.99 this year.

Hopefully it's more like the 2015 version and less like the 2016. Either way, I think I'll pass this year...

Perrin just entered our market out here in Denver a few months back and they sent out what seemed to be a very good amount of No Rules. Ended up picking up a few bottles and there's still some sitting around at 13.99/bottle. Really hoping they send some more out for this years release. Enjoyed the hell out of this beer.

    BUT, MAH TRADE BAITZ!!!

Seriously though, how many states is Perrin in now? They have some kind of partnership with Oskar Blues, yes? Seems like that is working out quite well for them. No Rules was super easy to get last year around A2. Hoping for the same this year.

Doubtful they'll go back to it. But I would be super happy if they eventually moved to a 12oz. Often I want to drink it on my own, on a week night, and a 15% bomber doesn't support that

A 12 oz of no rules would be perfect. I had to put a wine stopper in mine last year and drink the other half the next day.

The first release at the brewery has some 12oz bottles and that was it. I usually end up sharing mine even though i love the shit out of it. Or I start early and drink half while I cook dinner, etc and then the other half after the kids go to bed. Hell, I think I need to put one in the fridge now just from thinking about it.

I traded with a guy in Texas last fall, and when we met he was like "whoa I thought these were 12oz." So, in the end, I think he was pretty happy with that trade

Hell, I split a bottle with a friend last week, and after a couple IPAs, it was "see ya later bye" after cracking the No Rules.

Define "all over ohio". As in, could I go to Toledo, or Cleveland, or Cincinnati and get it? Just asking as my Ohio trips are infrequent. Or better, where have you seen them in Ohio?

There's definitely no problem finding it on Cleveland shelves.. I can't speak for the rest of Ohio..
