No, we're all just going to Hoof Hearted, Wolf's Ridge, or Jackie O's releases.

I don't remember any east side Meijer getting NR last year. I'm not positive but, search results turned up nada too. I know some west side Meijers did get it, got a few hits on search.

Are you east or west side?

I am on the West side and sounds like a few got it but not all. I live by the closest Meijer to Perrin and they have not received it as of today's delivery.

Some Mid Michigan Meijers get them. But hard to tell which ones and even harder to tell when, as sometimes it is just randomly put out by whoever is stocking.

I know the Meijer in Cascade recieved a bunch last year as well, although it was not on sale on release day like it was this year.

I'm East. Ypsil/A2 to be exact. I will probably stick to my usual haunts, as I don't frequent Meier for normal shopping.

There was a place in A2 last year that had their cases all sitting on the floor, no limit. Lasted 2-3, probably in part due to the price, which was $18 or $19 iirc.

My local Meijer received about 6 cases of Unfinished Business when that was released last year. I'm pretty sure I am the only person that bought a bottle of it in the three months it collected dust before being pulled from the shelf. That said, I doubt that Meijer will be getting any No Rules, not that I'm looking for it anyway.

I hadn't even planned to buy any this year, but when faced with walking by a couple of cases of 'beetus at the grocery store, the impulse buyer in me said to grab a bottle. Like last year, sounds like there is plenty of this stuff to go around on the west side of the state.

Saw 10+ bottles sitting on an end cap display at D&W tonight along with other assorted bombers from Perrin. They were selling them for $16 if I remember correctly. Didn't seem to be going anywhere too fast.

Spoke to another one of my beer retailer contacts today who confirmed he's getting much less than last year. He pointed out that Perrin's distribution footprint has expanded pretty significantly over the past year and that might be stretching them a little thinner than the relative abundance that No Rules seemed to have last year, even on the East side of the state.

So looks like we may be looking at something similar to B1, unfortunately. I'd be cool with something in between the availability levels of B1 and B2, to be honest.

B1 might as well have been a leprechaun in metro Detroit. Grand Rapids facebook groups coined the hashtag #tynr because of how well it traded.

Had it been readily available outside the GR area, I don't think it would have seen the success it did.

I can't imagine B3 will be that hard to obtain in metro Detroit now that the honeymoons over. We'll have our answer next week. My guess is it should be similar to B2.

I guess I may be picking up a few more bottles of this. My wife really liked it and I can't lie, it's still sweet as ever but the coconut flavors are off the hook and delicious.

Enjoyed one last night and sadly got little coconut and tons of cinnamon. Would prefer it the other way around, but still love it.

Interesting because I would have loved lots of cinnamon but I got vanilla/sugar trumping all other flavors

Glad to hear things are as consistent as the past batches. Or No Rules is the epitome of TomAto Tomato

Yep. Time will tell. But I think it's interesting that multiple people are reporting lower quantities than B2. Especially given that production seems to be just as high as ever. Of course this is all anecdotal--there might be others who are getting more that I just don't speak to about it.

I suspect it's more the latter. With all the ingredients in NR, it's not surprising to me that different people might get different things. I imagine the turbinado sugar also serves to meld the cinnamon and coconut flavors together a bit in a way that different palates will pull different dominant flavors from.

Just cracked my first bottle. Really digging it. Getting more coconut than cinnamon, but both are present.

Here we go again with the 1 bottle per person limit again on the eastside of the mitten.

Just to reiterate....for the few that questioned "people are really lining up for this?" on the release day at the brewery....this was one of the reasons why:wink:

I love reading how it's apparently rotting on the floors of shops from Lansing to Lake Michigan, when the few shops I frequent in Wayne county said they each got one case and hope to get more...

I got a bottle for $15 out the door in the Flint area, cheaper than each of the last few years. I remember it being in the $17-$19 range before.
