    It's probably more like 17>>>15>>>>>>>>>>>>16.

We may actually agree on something

In my experience, more often than not, purposely aging beer does not necessarily yield positive results. This is not the same as buying enough to last 6-12 months, though, as a point of clarification.

Founders Blushing Monk has been an exception, and I intend to set some Frootwood aside for the same purpose.

The 2016 No Rules I cracked a couple months ago was difficult to get through, whereas the fresh 2017 caught my attention enough to buy another bottle to share in the near future.

Fresh, I'd go 17=15>16 from what I recall.
Today from recent tasting, I'd go 17>16>15 IMO. I think 15 has fallen off pretty bad.

I saw 3 cases at Horrocks in Battle Creek today @ $18.99 per bottle. I just drank my last 2016 bottle yesterday, and I've decided that this beer is too sweet for me. I'll pass on the 2017 version.

Must be that all Meijer stores that got this beer are charging $15.99. And I'm guessing that all Meijer stores must have received some because MY Meijer store (Battle Creek/Beckley Road) has 12 bottles on the shelf today, and they rarely get anything that is hyped or in short supply.

Shelf tag for ours said 17.39. Which is what the shelf tag always says if it appears. But, that's not what it scanned at...

Yeah, the $15.99 was a 'sale' price so the shelf tag could have been $17.39. I didn't buy any so I can't even look at the receipt.

The Westnedge Kazoo store has it for 15.99 and the shelf has been full....We must be getting quite a bit cause when I come in at 5 its half empty and when I leave its full....Last time I counted 20 bottles on the shelf....

I'm in Portage and see it fill up daily at the Shaver rd Meijer also. Rang up $15.99 and it was on the end cap of the aisle

Thanks, ya'll. Horrock's in Battle Creek had a bunch. Paid a bit (18-something) and got 2. Seems like there's plenty still hanging around the state.

Looks like Perrin will have to add a few more states to distribution to dump the bottles they can't sell in local distribution. Good thing people lined up at Perrin the morning of the release, though...

    Thumbs down.

Just send more to the eastside. We'll buy it and the problem is solved.

I like how it was 15.99 a bottle at the brewery, but I paid 12.99 a bottle after distribution. I won't be going to any Perrin bottle releases again unless this changes.

Isn't this the norm for breweries doing limited releases?

The only one I know of where you can get beer significantly below retail is FFF. The rest always charge retail price or more.

So your bottle shops can mark it up to $25 and it can sit on the shelves?

Wouldn't the gougers be more apt to scalp you on prices if there is less? Anyway, it's been in the $15 neighborhood everywhere I've seen it in the Oakland County area this year.
