I like the idea of cellaring beer but I dont have the self control to save the beer for years. Maybe it would be easier if I had enough money to stockpile large amounts of beer but for the time being I cannot. That is why I must thank Vav from the BInnys in LP. I picked up a sixer of 2011 and 2012 BIgfoot today and I just cracked a 2011. I have had BIgfoot many many times, but never with age on it. It is fucking fantastic. Thank you for forcing me to cellar a couple six packs.

Normally when I get beer I want to cellar, I toss it in a wine box and put it in the back of my closet or in the cellar. This way I am not tempted to drink it because it is kind of hidden. Another idea is to take a a beer or two out a six pack and cellar that, or buy and extra bomber that way you can have one fresh and cellar one. That being said Vav knows whats up, and has a nice cellar going. I'm pretty excited for his cellar raffle thing.

Step 1) Buy some cellarable beers, put in closet
Step 2) Buy some IPAs that you insist on drinking fresh before opening your cellared beers
    Step 3) Repeat steps 1 and 2.

    Congrats, you have a cellar!
