Nobi bottle share Sunday April 6th

I would say if you can only bring beers that sit on shelves all over the area and are probably for sale at the bar itself then maybe buy a couple of plates of egg rolls to share instead and leave those at home. I'm not being a dick here but the point is to share beers that we wouldn't be able to buy locally. Everybody else brings beers that we have either traded for or picked up out of state and brought back to share.

It is just beer but we have to have some rules otherwise nobody would have incentive to bring what they bring. We would just be a bunch of dudes buying each other beer.

 

Hey guys, I'm Jason, I've been to a couple bottle shares at nobi in the past but never signed up on BA so I figured I'd get with the program. I listed the beers I'm bringing in chris' spread sheet. See you guys later today.

 

I'm planning to come to this for the first time... should I bring any glassware?

 

You can bring glassware but Nobis will let you use a glass.

 

That is a good rule.. though I think if something was very limited and hard to get in the city... it should be fair game.

Of if someone wants to bring a year or two year old Pumpkinator in the fall.. something that ages well.


I am bringing a Clown Lounge in case there are people that didn't get to try it.. if everyone has.. OR Nobi still has bottles for sale, I'll just keep it and bring it back home. (I actually haven't even tried it yet..)

I also brought an almost two year old Yeti last share....being a Yeti fan.... I could certainly tell a difference from one purchased after recent bottling. Guess it wasn't fancy, but it was very good.

Got caught up in some work stuff. I'll do some unloading next month most likely.

 

It was great finally checking out Nobi and meeting some of you guys.

If anybody left a snifter at Nobis let me know. It's just a plain medium sized snifter with no logo. I didn't swipe it, I left my bag there and when I picked the bag up today the glass was in it.

It's bigger than their tasters. I guess it's possible though.
