Nobi Public House Bottle Share.

I had a beer with the owner and manager this week and the topic came up, yes they will provide space for bottle shares. Everything is looking good, at this point just waiting on TABC.

 

What's the food situation and hours of operation?

 

I don't think they have released a menu or anything like that.. I'm guessing you'll see some of the Nobi sandwich shop stuff on the menu..

I'd try to make any bottle share set up... though I don't have anything exotic or really rare... that anyone around here wouldn't have already had.

 

As long as you have access to real good locals, you always have access to anything across the country that isnt distributed here through trades and yes it is that easy. I have a little bit of knowledge and experience trading and I have no problems giving tips and sharing my bottles if its for the greater good of the craft beer community in our area. Just saying.

When I talked to Charles (the owner) about it he told me they would be rolling out their menu from the sandwich shop from 11am to 11pm after 5pm they will have an additional menu for 5 or so rotating items depending on the season and such. All of it will be Asian themed no american style pub food.

Im down for the bottle share too, just let me know when!

I am the Manager for the Public House, and unfortunately, all we can give is the nebulous answer of "soon" at the moment. We're just waiting on a few minor things right now. We are getting very close though. Should be no more than 2-3 weeks. We are definitely open to a bottle share if anyone is up for arranging one. We really appreciate all of the support. Just bear with us a little longer.

As far as food goes, we will have the Nobi menu for lunch, and a limited dinner menu that is something we're going to play around with and have fun with. We are set at 40 taps and a cask engine. One of our taps will be a dedicated Sour tap. It will be a rotating beer menu. I personally am trying to bring in beers that you don't really see in our area often on tap. We will have 512 and Live Oak for sure, and I'm working on Buffalo Bayou and Deep Ellum now. We want to keep it diverse, and constantly changing.

I just selfishly want you to open as soon as possible, and bringing this type of establishment closer to my house, and not have to drive into town .

My wife is a Banh Mi fanatic, and we've been discussing how boner inducing the idea of having a badass banh mi with a full run of great craft beer options is.

Love the dedicated sour tap too.

If there's a bottle share for opening, if I'm in town I'll participate.

On Nasa Rd 1 near the intersection of Highway 3.

If you know the area its across highway 3 from The Hop, facing Nasa Rd 1.

 

So if we plan a bottle share can we have nobi food too? Are you down with us doing the bottle share before you guys open?

Also, any thoughts about your ties to the home brew community? Would you guys ever consider a contest and maybe hosting a tap for the winner?
