Noble Ale Citra Shower

Where in NorCal? I just bought 3 bottles in the North Bay. Sipping on it as I type this.

 

Near Excremento. Folsom to be exact.

 

It's a bit of a drive for you, but Beercraft in Rhonert Park had it. If you're willing to make it, call ahead first.

 

So you want to send me a couple bottles...for some not rare Hopslam or Abrasive? ; )

 

I stopped trading a couple years ago, but I'm sure someone would take you up on that...the only thing better than beer that's hard to find is beer that's not even distributed to your state!

 

Polishing off a bottle now. Pairs great with playoff football.

 

Come on guys, we need to make a pact to just keep this stuff local. The Alpine method. Then, only then, will this land those mid-west walez that we want to harpoon.

Till then we're throwing pearls to the fly over state swine!

 

anybody know if vendome toluca lake got some? or bills liquor in atwater?

 

I checked Bill's today. Apparently it hadn't shown up yet. But they're usually a go to for finding Noble.

Vendome Toluca lake didn't seem to have anything Noble on the shelf Saturday other than Ghost of Jacob

 

Asked at Bill's yesterday, they said it will likely show up this coming week.

 

was at the brewery yesterday and they still had a lot of bottles, limit 4. it's very good but somehow doesn't fall into my preferred flavor profile as well as other similar beers (sorry lack of vocabulary) like Dank Matter or Melrose IPA

Totally agree. I liked it, thought it was a well brewed beer, but the flavors they got out of the Citra hops were a bit different than other Citra hopped beers I've had. I got a lot more herbal character, and not as bright, citrusy, or froot-loop-like as I've noticed in others. Just slightly lowered my overall enjoyment of it, compared to some of my favorite IPAs.

 

Was there today. Went to limit 2 and they had less than 3 cases left. It was my first "good" beer so far this year and I shuddered and my eyes bulged (that meant it was good).

 

Had some last night. Slightly better than Citra in my opinion.

 

Really enjoyed this beer. The guys at Noble Ale Works are doing some great work.

I am definitely looking forward to enjoying more beer from this brewery again soon!

FYI ... as of yesterday, bottles are SOLD OUT at the brewery.

Next up is the Nelson version ... guy at Noble said it should be available sometime in Feb

Ramirez still had some yesterday. Picked up 2. Drank them during the game. Can't wait for the Nelson version

 

Yeah to follow up on the Ramirez post, there weren't any Citra Showers left today.

 

Valley Beverage in Sherman Oaks got it in today along with the Noble Scotch Ale. Also got Modern Times cans in
