Noble Ale thread. . .anything Noble related

    I thought I would start a new thread on anything Noble Ale related. News, releases, events, inside info, etc.
    I know there are a couple of Noble threads going on (ex Showers, Tickles). But news of "I Love It" in bottles will be available today at the brewery. I had this on tap at the brewery and at Beachwood SB. Another killer IPA from Evan and the Noble brew crew.
    On another note...yesterday marked Evan's 3 years at Noble. IMO Evan saved Noble and put them on the OC map. I thought Noble was nothing but average or below before Evan entered. When he created Naughty Sauce it was game on. Everybody thought what the hell was this? It was pretty damn good. A pretty damn good stout that looked like an IPA. Then came the IPAs. Too many to name. So congratulations to Evan for 3 years of some world class beers in the OC.

    While I LOVE LOVE Noble (second fave OC brewery behind Bruery - not counting Beachwood), their lack of growler fill options SUCK

    I actually feel like they do ok on their growler fills, I stop in almost every Tuesday for a fill, even if there isn't anything special available, 32 ounces of big wig for 8 bucks is an incredible deal. I just love cinnamon roast crunch, I ant to share it with my wife, but she has never been able to get to the tasting room. so a growler fill of it would be her only chance of trying it.

    You guys seem to be over looking Big Whig. It's not what it was even 2 years ago. It is an outstanding standard. I'm perfectly fine paying $15 for a growler fill of it.

    The growler fill price is what kills it for me. $25 for for any of their special releases, if not $30 for their showers beers.

    wish they opened before 4:00, for those of us who can make it down there earlier. Instead, if we wanna grab something for the early evening we have to battle rush hour both ways. Thankfully Bottle Logic opens at 12, so it's a better option.

    I agree 100%. Living south I want to be able to leave before rush hour during the week. I often hit up phantom ales for their awesome homebrew shop during the day and would like to be able to stop by noble.

    Agree on both….I was think about heading from HB to Noble for the I Love It bottle release today. But hell TGIF traffic! Forget it. I'll wait till tomorrow at noon. And the growler prices as I mentioned before is crazy. But so are the bottle prices. IMO. But I still pay it.

    I think that's what bugs me the most about the bottle prices. Is I still pay it because they are awesome but it keeps me from buying multiples.

    Did you get any cans of other half's citra or Nelson?

    Delivery of Other Half Nelson & Citra is today. Awaiting its arrival. Also got another 4 pack of Green Diamonds. And hoping my trading partner scores All Green Everything and Mosaic cans tomorrow. I would of flown out to JFK a for the release but have got Beach City anniversary party tonight and tomorrow.
