Noble Ale Works (Q3 2017)

I had it on draft, these were my thoughts too. Seemed under-carbonated. Hopefully out of the can it is better, if so, it'll be a great beer.

 

I'm the opposite. Like my west coast over the haze. But still have haze in my rotation. No doubt.

Looks like a DOUBLE CAN collab release coming from Noble and Gunwhale on Sep 9 ... 1) "No Shower Happy Hour" Hazy Double IPA ... 2) "Hawaiian Sling" a Wild IPA ... if it's anything like the Pizza Port collab, I'm ALL IN!!!

 

Wild IPA, so a dry-hopped sour?

 

Probably more dry and farmhouse-ish than sour. I usually don't get much hop profile from these kinds of beers. Gunwhale has made some enjoyable ones though.

 

I'm liking this already. Is this kinda like the PP/Noble flip flop thing? Where Noble will release one and Gunz the other?

 

They said BOTH will be release at Gunwhale.

 

when is this baby making it's debut?

 

I wish they'd shoot for the 7-8% abv range instead of always pushing the 9% envelope. Not a fan of boozy hazy IPAs. Usually doesn't bother me as much with the west coast style, but even the last mosaic showers seemed a little hot.

we want to know the release date for "The Juice is Out There"

 

An argument could be made that Noble drinkers are held against their will by these releases.

 

I only announce release dates when I have ~90% assurance that the beer is on track to be packaged. A lot of things go in to making this happen, and I apologize if this causes any inconveniences.

 

Why announce an upcoming product complete with the images of cans without knowing that you're ultimately going to be able to sell it?

 

Well, promotion is quite necessary.

Also, as the old adage goes, Shit Happens. If you're truly interested in all the complexities that go into making these releases happen, feel free to come by the tasting room and ask for me. I'd love to chat about it, and at the very least you'd get a beer on the house.
