Noble's "Showers"

I'll be headed to Noble on Wednesday prior to the Ducks game, hope they have all their IPA's on tap. As well as vlady!

 

That's how I felt as well. Lots of lemongrass.

 

And dill. Lots of dill.

 

Citra Yum Yum is still on as of 515pm today. First taste….very good. Not as sweet as I had thought it would be. I still enjoyed the I Less Than Three It better. Well, maybe a little bit more. I hope they will brew more of Citra Yummy in the near future. Get over to Noble and try this one. And I Less Than Three It. And I Love It. And Mosaic. And Naughty Sauce. And……..

 

From what I'm hearing, looks like Sorachi should be best left to styles like saisons? Still looking forward to tasting.

 

Had a great time last year, wonder if they will have I Love It IPA on tap.

 

Didn't they have most of their beers past and present on last year? I would think they'd have a keg saved for this event. Not going. Already committed to another event at my local brewery. It should be a blast though, and very crowded. Maybe next year.

I've done that the last two years. The first time almost everything was still on but last year quite a bit was gone.

I remember the list being long. I don't see Tongue Tickles on there. I heard Imp Naughty Sauce and Yazu Messenger were both big hits. I got to try the Messenger soon after the anniversary when they released it in bottles. Good stuff.

 

Went to Noble last night after the Bruery. They have "cinnamon roast crunch" - Naughty Sauce with Cinnamon added. Tasting pretty fantastic. They also have an Oatmeal stout with portola coffee that was pretty tasty, not as coffee forward as I would've imagined. Oh, and how could I forget "Weekend at Burnies" - IPA with Carolina Reaper chili's. Hottest beer ever, I didn't hate it, but I would never get it again.

 

I think their spicy beer is interesting for a sip or two but not much more.

 

Debating on attending the anniversary event this year. Last year sucked ass due to being waaay too overcrowded

 

I remember going to Beachwoods 3rd year event last summer and it was soooo crazy. And it was free to get in! Every year it gets worse. No more anniversary events for me. As much love for BW and some of the others I will not. Well, never say never. I plan to go to my local brewery's 1 year anniversary this May. And I expect it to be very busy.

 

Yeah, me too. I usually just go the next day and drink whatever's left. I miss out on some hyped beers, but I sure as hell don't miss the crowds, lines, and elbows.
