For those of you at the tasting room right now... how is Sorachi Ace Showers? Noble hyped it as really wild. I'm just not sure it is it wildly good or just wildly bizarre.

I'm guessing it sucks like every other sorachi ace ipa.

Also, it's already available for growler fills which is telling

Their original post said no growler fills, did something change?

What other single hop Sorachi Ace IPA's are there? Any available in O.C? Don't think I've ever tried one.

Not a lot available out there because single hopping with that hop is generally pretty weird. Societe put up a single hop sorachi ipa that tasted weird as fuck a few months ago. Other than that, Beachwood has Hop Ramen on, which is a blend of hops, but has a big dose of sorachi ace.

Thanks, appreciate it. I've been wanting to try Hop Ramen and hopefully I will have the chance soon.

I love the smell of Sorachi Ace hops, it just sucks that the smell doesnt translate to the taste.

I liked Sorachi Bachelor!!! It was smooth, easy drinking, but yes, different. It was one of those love it or hate it beers.

Considering how their first barrel aged Stout went [Fig Poppa] I hope the sour surpasses expectations.

I see they have "I Love It" back on tap at the brewery. Does anybody know how much it is for a 32oz growler fill? Taphunter shows it at $15. That can't be right. A 16oz pour is $6.

    $15 sounds right since its a "premium".it was $25 for a 64oz.
