Actually, it's Jeff. It's easy for me to remember as it bears my name.

Ah -- you're correct. Looked back at Untappd and saw that's what it was...

Similar four-letter names got me (I should be better at this, given my own four-letter first name). Recently had Fred from Hair of the Dog, hence mix-up.

I've probably asked this question somewhere here before so I apologize for asking again.
Has anybody here tried the Messenger (IPA) from Noble. I know it has made an appeareance at the brewery before. The latest one was during the anny party. Is it better than their recent releases? I heard back from one that it was really good and their favorite from the Noble.

Messenger is great. They call it a "citrusy IPA" which is spot on. They add the zest of buddha's hand and pomelo which gives a very lemony citrus flavor profile. It's very refreshing and pretty different from the rest of their IPAs.

yeah, I wasn't feeling Messenger either. A bit way too much citrus for my liking.

I wonder if the new batch is any different from the first one. I had the first batch after their anniversary party this year and it was wonderful. I'll have to go try this new batch soon.

Yuzu Messenger was one of the best beers of the day at the anniversary party.

Tried it, purchased 3 more bottles. Love the citrus taste on it, I had so many @ the anniversary party can't recall what it tasted back then.

Also loved it. Bought 3 bottles. Taste like a very citrusy session ipa. But coming in at 7.3. Our next quake here in SoCal.

I had The Messenger at the brewery tonight ... a different kind of IPA but I loved it. Big Citra, super citrus. I picked up a couple of bottles as well.

Not sure if it's been mentioned yet, but apparently the next batch of showers was available on cask tonight. They posted on instagram saying that this batch features a hop called HBC 366. Possibly calling it TBA Showers.

Thanks for calling that out -- hadn't checked their Facebook in awhile.

May try and swing by there to grab a bottle when I'm in Anaheim on Sunday (if they still have, that is).

More than likely will. The last two shower series haven't flown off the shelf like Nelson and Citra. And with this one not even being named, I'm sure it's going to be offered in bottles at the brewery for at least the next week or so.

WTF! Where are all the "FanBoyz"? Hardly anybody here for TBA. Maybe they waiting for it to be named something other than TBA. It's actually better than Simcoe & Amarillo.

The majority of those people who show up have no idea about beer and just follow hype. Not surprising at all to see "TBA Showers" not generate lines like the others.
