i don't understand why people are being berated for wanting to buy good beers. it's not like Noble releases are like Pliny the Younger craziness. good brewery making good beers, beer lovers wanna buy them = fan boys?

    this place is funny

I thought it was great. To me it is the best one since the Citra.

They named it Equinox Showers, though the bottles I got say TBA.

Yeah, I like how people complaining about 'fanboys' are often giving us first-hand accounts of the crazy lines created by such fanboys. Think about that one a sec.

People are really dense about comments regarding Noble fanboys. A large group of people claimed to be huge fans of Noble with beers like Citra/Nelson Showers, however, when a version comes out with a "TBA" named hop variety a large number do not show up. I've been a fan of Noble for a long time - and love their new steady releases - but the fact remains that certain people are only going to come out for certain hyped beers. This isn't something new or unique to Noble.

Funny you should say that, I read they used some HBC 366 or equinox in a batch of sucks. Not sure if it's a regular component now or if it was a one time addition.

Anyways I loved TBA Showers, though I think Equinox is an unfortunate name choice for the hop.

Not sure how your logic makes them fanboys of Noble. Seems the folks you're describing would maybe be fanboys of citra or nelson hops, no? Whatever. Who cares?

Could anyone let me know when TBA hits growler fill status? I'd much appreciate it. Cheers!

Depending on how fast it sells on draft at the brewery it may not make it to growler fills. Citra & Nelson didn't make it to growler fills because it was gone in like 60 seconds! With all the hype (again fanboyz) from the beginning of Citra it didn't last long at the brewery. If I remember right they had a 6 bottle limit on day 1. Almost immediately it went to 4 bottles and then down to 2 bottles. And the bottles were gone just like that. And draft too. So everybody thought the same when Nelson came out. It disappeared just as quick. There was a large presence on the first day when the doors opened at 4 when Amarillo released and what happened? There was bottles still sitting on shelves 2 weeks later and the brewery was doing growler fills of Amarillo till it tanked. Day 1 of the TBA release not many was there when the doors opened. But with everyone calling on their cells to their buddies about how TBA is tasting I'm sure the word got out quick that day. But I can see the word on TBA getting out is better than Amarillo and Simcoe(which wasn't bad at all). I think TBA will be around a little bit longer than the last 2 showers but not make it to growler fills, unless Noble releases their next Showers in 2 weeks and TBA is still on draft at the brewery. If will be interesting to see bottles of Simcoe still selling at the brewery while TBA sold out.

Anyone make it out to Noble this weekend yet? Hoping to swing by today and was wondering what is still available on tap/in bottles between Simcoe/TBA/Messenger

To answer my own question (and anyone else who may have been interested in knowing), they still had bottles of both TBA (limit 4) and Messenger (limit 2) as of late yesterday afternoon

So TBA bottle limit went up to 4 over the weekend? It was 2 last Weds. Interesting. Did they bottle more this round? Or not many are interested in the TBA Showers. I thought it was better than Simcoe and Amarillo. Or maybe the FanBoyz craze is over for the Shower series.

TBA showers is amazing. WAY better than Simcoe, and a small step below Nelson Showers. IMO.

Or maybe $9/bomber hurts and is slowing down sales.

yeah, I had to limit my last few releases to one bomber unless I knew I was having a share in the immediate future, cause man. I still have a Citra showers in the fridge and that just doesn't feel right.

    $9 is steep.
