Noble's "Showers"

I just hope Galaxy and Mosaic make it out this year.

 

Dude, that Citra Showers is probably half as good as fresh now. What are you waiting for? Kern's Citra? So you can compare?

 

Honestly I said it before on this thread or some other Noble Shower thread. I can't keep track. But $9 is steep. And I think BW's bottle prices are steep. And BW is my go to favorite place. I like the food and the peeps that work there. The beer is Spot On. Julian is killing it with all his beers. But $8 is high also. I can buy a case of Enjoy By at $7 per bottle no problem. Cheaper at costco. But will buy 6 bottles of BW's beers at $8 or $9 per bottle. Knee Deep is another one thats high. I haven't bought anything from Knee Deep in the last year or year n half. Now I thought Noble's the Messenger bottles at $7 was a far price. Yes different beer. Different taste.

 

Its also hard to generate buzz when you have bi-weekly releases. At some point (looks like 5)people just cant keep up. I bet if the slowed it down they could get some of the hype back.

 

Well let's hope they don't slow down. Or if they do slow down, make more batches to support the hype.

 

It's not like I purposely sit on them. With new beers coming out so often, stuff gets put in the back of the fridge and then I got go all "fanboy" on the next release by some one else and well, time makes fools of us all.

On a related note, I do have a KRBC Citra in the fridge as well. Whooooooops!

 

I just found a Hopocalpse from a few months in my fridge also. Poured a glass. Drank half. Drain poured the rest.

Has anyone seen TBA/Equinox in stores yet? I haven't seen any of the stores I follow on social media post it.

 

It's not in stores yet as far as Ive seen. Just draft only.

 

Did a fridge cleaning of all the showers I had left. which included all the releases minus Nelson (I guess I drank those quickly) , but Citra and Simcoe still were the best out of the bunch. And that's saying a lot that Citra still held strong after all this time.

 

Funny it hasn't hit the stores yet. Coming up on 2 weeks since it's release. Is it still available at the brewery? And 4 bottle limit?

 

I was at Noble yesterday after the Veritas release wanting to check out more ans the showers and Tongue Tickles were great. I had the 10 beer sampler covering all 9 they offered. What's with the Habanero and Serrano nonsense? Does anyone actually like brews made with chiles? equinox was good but the rest was meh...

 

I enjoy the beers with chiles, and a few of my friends do as well. They're not for everyone but I enjoy a 12oz pour of Too Damn Hot now and then.

Yes. Is Tongue Tickles back? Or not? I didn't see anything on their facebook page on its release.

 

yeah, that's what I want to know as I liked that one more than any of the showers so far. Though citra was close. But man, tongue tickles was great.

 

I wish there was a device I can use to contact them without driving all the way to Anaheim and find out if they do indeed have Tongue Tickles. I can call @ 4pm and get back to everyone.
