NODA Availability

They put some out yesterday, so my cousin got some at the original location.

 

Any idea what kind of distro Hoppy Holidays will get? Will it exclusively be in CCLT and surrounding area?

 

I got a 4 pack at Good Bottle yesterday, thats the only place I was able to find it

 

I'm probably heading to Asheville in mid-July and haven't done a whole lot of research just yet. Chances of scoring Hop Drop when there? Seems like it moves quickly.

 

Picked some up yesterday at Fresh Market in LKN area but they got very limited amounts.

 

Was at Beer Study and overhead them saying that NODA was planning on restarting distribution to the Triangle in Late Jan/Early Feb

They distributed here previously?

 

They've made one-off runs over the last year or two. Not consistent by any stretch, but they've stocked a van and headed east.

 

Didn't know that, thought shops always made runs out there to get it.

 

I think they send a truck up to a central location in the triangle and shops come pick it up from there.

Will be interesting to see how regular it is and what quality the HDR is. The cans I picked up from Beer Study last week were really good i thought but not what it once was.

 

Is Hoppy Holidays still around in Charlotte?

I don't think retail got too much. I don't even remember any bottle shops advertising that they got any (which would lead me to think they only got a few cases each).

 

I was up in Charlotte over the weekend. I was only able to find it on draft at the older NoDa facility. They were out of cans and so was TW on East Woodlawn (sp?). I'm glad I asked my BIL to pick up a pack last me week. BTW, it's so much better than HDnR!

 

That's how Hop Cakes got here last year. Would be nice to see more NoDa around in these parts.
