NODA TAKES THE GOLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

...definitely saw a stack of Hop Drop at Bruisin' unless there's another beer that comes in 16 oz 4-pack green cans I'm unaware of.

 

Hop Drop'n Roll is the beer that retailers drive to get- if there's enough. My bet is that this beautiful beer will become even more cherished. NoDa is not a big place, but HD'nR is a big time brew.

 

Yeah. People have to go to the brewery to get NoDa beers. No distribution in Western North Carolina. That's what a guy at Appalachian Vintner told me.

 

Brusin' Ales was here about a month ago. We try to keep our brew finder decently up to date but it's always best to call the shops before heading out.

We appreciate all the kind words. We will always keep our backyard, here in Charlotte, first, but we're also loving the NC bottle shops willing to drive to pick up their weekly allotments.

 

App Vintner had it in february. I'm ready for Hop Drop to make it to Columbia in cans. I occasionally can grab a bomber off a store's tap, but I need them cans in my life.

 

Can someone explain why this one isn't in the Top 250? It has an average of 4.31 with 414 ratings. There are several Top 250's with less than 200 ratings, no. 85 with only 176 and no. 123 with only 143 for example. No. 250 has a rating of 4.24.

 

That's awesome! Congrats to NoDa! It would be interested to see where Wicked Weed's Freak IPA would have finished if they released a full list.

 

Big congrats to the crew at NoDa. Now a lot of people know what all of Charlotte has for some time now.

 

One problem with this gold medal win...nada damn drop of Hop Drop ANYWHERE to buy this week. For real. They sold out at the brewery and store shelves in Charlotte were wiped clean of it. Not canning again until Monday or Tuesday.

I did hear that three for 60bbl fermenters are on the ordered/on the way. Hopefully a canning line as well. Congrats guys, well deserved. Happy to support these guys as they are really doing it the right way.
