NOIPA Fest In PVDRI

Is anyone else thinking about attending or committed to attending this fest: NOIPA FEST, The WaterFire Arts Center, Providence, August 7 2022 | AllEvents.in ?

I am intrigued for a number of reasons.

One is that I just drank a "Sour IPA", which gives credence to a beer scribe (either Lew Bryson or Stephen Beaumont) who said, "In the coming future, EVERY beer will be marketed as an IPA". 8=O

SeCANd is that I have New England in my blood, having somehow spent nearly half of my naval career up there and it doesn't take much for me to come up.

Third is that I am curious to sample these wares. They are correct in that many of these styles are just not in vogue currently, making them the modern wales/whalez/waylz.

Fourth, I am in need of a host. From June 2006 to August 2008, I traveled to all fifty (50) US states and most of the CANadian provinces, drinking beer and sending updates to this site from the field. I am pretty low-maintenance and it might even be for just one night. I would come up on Amtrak the morning of and depart the following morning. I would stay at the strip club by Dunkin Donuts Center, but I am told that those rooms are no longer to let. 8=( CAN yinz help me?!?
