Non-bomber Saisons

Collette and Tank 7 are highly recommended. Both are pretty high ABV though - esp. Tank 7 at like 8.5%. The style is 6.5-8.5 typically, though.

 

Stillwater for sure, Their Classique (6 pack cans) are great

 

I doubt the list here is complete, but a quick Googling turned this up from Binny's. Can't say whether these are available beers in your area nor do I vouch for the quality of any of the listed brews. It's just a list of 35 of the style in smaller format bottles. Tank 7 sort of ends the discussion for me, but if you can't get it that doesn't help.

Stillwater has tons! And one of my favorite brewers too!

 

Goose Island's saisons are good too. Especially Sofie Paradisi, if you can get a hold of any!

 

Most Stillwater offerings I've seen are in bombers, with Classique being the only 4/6 pack.

St Feuillien Saison – I think that they even started distributing this one in cans in the USA. Small bottles also.
Regular Hof ten Dormaal beers – 375 ml. only I believe.
De la Senne Gray Jacket is a wonderful beer & only in 33 cl. bottles.
De Ranke Saison De Dottignies – 33 cl. only.
Thiriez Etoile Du Nord – 33 cl. only.
Struise Catso – 33 cl. only.
Vapeur en Folie – 33 cl. available – think Fantome for this one, that style.
De Molen Blikken & Blozen – 33 cl. only.
Extraomnes Saison – 33 cl. only.
Moinette Biologique & other Dupont beers available in 33 cl. bottles.
Belgoo Saisonneke – 33 cl. only.
Li P’tite Gayoûle – available in 33.
Cazeau Saison - 33 cl. only.

I still t hink that small saison bottles look a bit weird. Same with lambic.

They sell it in 12 packs. A few of them in a variety pack is more than enough.

 

Rayon vert is not a saison.

Let me throw out Ithaca Ground Break - not everyone's cup of tea, but I like it as an easy-drinking-everyday kind of saison. Which is what they were supposed to be, weren't they?

 

St Feuillien has 4 packs of 11.2 oz cans and it's pretty tasty

 

Yup...my bad. Drinks like a saison though. The brett always fools me into thinking its a saison. Delicious nonetheless.

 

Not in 12oz, but Victory Helios is a great saison and it is priced quite reasonably...$4 a bomber around here.

Two of these are "Black Saison" beers (stouts/porters fermented with farmhouse yeast): Pepe Nero and Existent. A few of them I haven't had and can't say if they are any good or not. But this should be a good list to start exploring.
