I have been diving into the realm of craft beer for about two years now. I have been reading BA for a while, but am new to the site. I love everything about beer, and have been experimenting with home brew for the last year. Unfortunately, I don't have many friends that are into craft brew like I am. Just wanted to start a thread stating I live in St. Clair Shores michigan, and would love to meet up with some true beer lovers around me.
Well, you can't be too much of a noob as you posted in the right forum. I am sure there are homebrew groups in your area that meet on a regular basis that you could link up with. Welcome to the party!
Since you are in SCS, you should go out to Boatworks. It's run by @Brianw508 and always seems to have a pretty interesting tap list.

@MaxPowers , @Brianw508 is a great guy, and boatworks is fantastic...I try to make it there a few times a year (I live in livonia).... You are close to Kuhnhenn Brewing Co..That should be basically your home base as far as a brewery goes...Its seriously, one of the best in the country, imo...They also have a homebrew store and homebrew club...Here is the homebrew club facebook page https://www.facebook.com/groups/KGBHomebrew/ There are a bunch of us around that would be happy to help with anything you need.....

Thanks for the replies guys. I have been to boat works for lunch and a few beers. Next time I'll have to see if you're in Brian. Definite plus one on kuhnhenn too, I do need to spend more time there.
