Noon whistle (2019)

Looking forward to this one, would like NW to release some new sours in 2019, particularly passionfruit face smack. Something with raspberry would be nice too. Razzy Smack....

 

Hop Prism Gold was great last year so I’m glad it’s returning. Is the anniversary party this weekend?

 

oooo same week as frosty faustings right down the street. lot of dudes coming into town might have to make a couple trips.

I thought Gummysicle was very meh. Lots of orange, but not a lot of vanilla or sweetness from the lactose. And the carb was fairly prickly for the style. I passed on 4pks.

 

Hop Prism Gold tomorrow too.

They posted 4 packs would be available earlier this week. Did something change?

 

I just checked their posts and I just saw available this weekend. Pic was of cans but I didnt see it mentioned. But if they did say 4 packs available, no reason theyd retract unless the batch was bad...

 

so i hadn't been to noon whistle in at least 9 months. i stopped by the other day to pick up a couple of 4-packs of hop prism turquoise. a couple of takeaways: (1) i forgot how much i really, really like this beer. it's so refreshing, and (c) beers like this remind me how it's good to take a step back from the usual barrage of northeast ipas and just get a good old fashioned ipa without the haze.

 

DaPercolator is pretty solid good but don't think I'd drink a 4 pack. Rubix was a letdown, felt like it they were trying to make a west coast haze.
