Opened a crowler of Funny Gummy tonight that was canned two weeks ago on 1/20, held up so damn well. Carbonation is perfect, looks just as hazy as straight from the tap. its delicious. Would really love if Noon Whistle canned this someday.

Missed this week's back but I had the BA Bernie with vanilla on draft at the party and did not like it. The sweetness tasted strong and artificial and didn't work with the body of that beer. I did like their hoppy offerings a lot though. Had Funny Gummy again on draft last night and enjoyed it

Disclaimer - I live in the same town as Noon Whistle, so I am biased....

However I can't recommend this brewery enough. They released an imperial porter last night - "wheres my nuts, hazel" and a coffee variant. The coffee variant was one of the best beers ive had - so smooth even at 8.1%. Also the Funnny Gummy is an amazing NE IPA.

It is funny because they specialize in low abv beers, but man their recent high abv offerings have been spot on!

For other recommendations not mentioned I highly recommend Facesmack - their flagship berliner weisse and also the Parker, a belgian wit, and Lilacia - a saison. Really can't go wrong i've only had a few of their offerings I didnt care for.

So does Noon Whistle fill growlers and half growlers, and if so do they fill other breweries' containers? Or do they only fill their own crowlers?

They fill growlers too, though I haven't asked about ones from other breweries.

They're releasing another NE IPA on Thursday. They do it very well IMO

My wife and I recently finished a crawler of Passion Fruit Facesmack. It was really tasty and had a great nose that reminded me of grapefruit.

I was looking up the new NE IPA info on Facebook and their post from yesterday talking about the imperial porter release says all growlers are $8 off today and tomorrow.

Saw a Groupon for this place last week. Never heard of it but my boyfriend loves sours so it sounds like a place to check out. Any sour recommendations?

I dont think they fill half growlers (they have their own crowler canning system), but I've had other brewers' growler filled there so shouldnt be a problem.

Love Noon Whistle, been going since they opened. Always grab crowlers for family parties. Great staff adds to the fun.

Where's my nuts, Hazel? Is a fantastic beer. Oak aged porter with hazelnuts.

Stopped in for the first time, today, and between funny gummy, hazels and the others, I'm a total fan of these guys.

In general, I was very impressed with the operation. Having a great taproom and sending out cans for distro basically out of the gate is super impressive. Any up and coming breweries would be wise to try and replicate their business model.

Super solid brew Noon Whistle, well done! The hazelnut Porter was pretty solid too, sad to have missed the coffee version!

Their "Bob Ross Did It" BBA Scotch Ale is insane good. So far it's an annual winter release.

Yeah. It's fantastic. Someone brought it to a share last year, and it was one of the highlights.

I will be driving down 355 today and I'm hoping to stop and NW to grab funny gummy and gummy vortex. Any updates on availability today would be appreciated.

The website says both are still on tap. Hoping to get some!

I was there at last call last night and both were still going strong.

Like someone above, I also enjoyed the imperial porter with hazelnut.

Their Facebook post said plenty of Gummy Vortex but Funny Gummy may not last the weekend. So if anyone got there today, I would imagine you'll be fine.

I also saw they have Passionfruit Face Smack, so I may be heading down there today or tomorrow to try that out.

I was talking to the bartender the other day and he said they can add their syrups to their beers as well, which never dawned on me. He said they've added Lingonberry syrup to Bernie and Passionfruit syrup to Cozmo which have both gotten good reviews. So just something else to keep in mind if anyone wants to try something different.

Did anybody else peep their coming soon board while you were there? There's an Irish Coffee Stout incoming...
