I'll be heading up north to Truckee for the fifty fifty eclipse release and heading to the bay after. Any suggestions as far as gastro pubs, bottle shops, & must visit breweries? Leaving this Thursday for the event. Any big shares? Anything is greatly appreciated!
Well that's a pretty broad question there and also there are many threads on the must hits of the bay area...That being said, I've seen lots of good stuff about Moonraker so that might be somewhere to stop on the way from Truckee to the SFBA. I really like Device and Track 7 in Sacramento and Fieldwork now has a tap room there as well. As far as must hits in the Bay Area there is Cellarmaker and Fieldwork, and Rare Barrel if you like sours. Also for consideration are Faction and Temescal, two that often fall under the radar but crank out tasty beers. City Beer Store is your go to bottle shop in the city. Perhaps other BA's can weigh in on bottle shops in the East Bay and North Bay. Depending on how far out of the way you want to drive there is SARA, Alvarado St (Monterey/Salinas), Russian River etc....
