Greetings all, I'll be in Norcross for a bit & am wondering if there are any close-by spots to nab a good beer, either shops or a bar/restaurant. I will be driving down to Decatur one night to hit The Brick Store Pub, but hoping there's a close-by local option that will at least be decent. Any help would be appreciated.
It's not in Norcross, but not too far away in Doraville is the Tower store, less than a mile north of I-285 on Buford Highway. Beer selection is excellent and the prices are just about as good as anywhere in Metro Atlanta.
That looks good & it's less than 10 minutes from where I'm staying, thanks! Anyplace to sit down & have a solid beer nearby? A good restaurant would be welcome, too!
Beer options are sad, but this place is a great place to eat in Norcross. The Duluth Taco Mac usually has a decent selection of craft. It is probably the closest Taco Mac location if you are in Northern Norcross. 5 Seasons North is a bit more of a ride from there, but it is one of the few unique options in the Northern burbs. If you are closer in to the perimeter, you should consider going to 5 Seasons Prado. Excellent food, and if you like IPAs try the Hopgasm.
Taco Mac is very close to where I'm staying, thanks for the tip. Never heard of 5 Seasons before, if I have a chance to get out a big further I might check that out, too.
